Bottom-rankers Punjab will need more than a miracle as they take on top-ranked Mumbai at the Brabourne Stadium here on Tuesday as the two sides reach the half-way stage of their campaign in this edition of the IPL.

While Mumbai are all set to cement a semi-final spot having already won five of their six games so far, Punjab are playing for pride after having lost five of their six games. Their lone win came through a tie-breaker against another struggling outfit, Chennai. Barring that, Punjab have been the most disappointing team to watch this season. The next eight games gives them the opportunity to redeem themselves and at least manage an honourable exit.
