India will start their Twenty20 World Cup 2012 campaign against Afghanistan, in the 3rd Game in Group A on Wednesday, 19th September, 2012 at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, in a day-night game and timing will be 14:00 GMT, 19:30 local, 19:30 IST.
India lost their last warm-up game against arch rival Pakistan but all their players are in good form specially Virat Kohli and they will try to top their group with a big win. India has to go with only 2 fast bowlers and 2 spinners with Ashwin and Ojha as they have plenty of spin options available.
War hit Afghanistan will try to make upset to give some cheers to their country. Mohammad Shahzad known as MS of Afghanistan is the wicketkeeper and will try to helicopter shot like Dhoni.
